Booking systems are designed to accept bookings. They aren't always designed to question whether a booking should be accepted.

After seeing businesses repeatedly encounter duplicate appointments, bookings outside their intended operating limits, and preventable scheduling conflicts, we built Booking Guard to provide an additional layer of protection without changing the way teams already use Wix.

Booking Guard checks supported appointment requests before Wix creates the booking.

You can enable protection against duplicate bookings, configure business-wide daily booking limits, set separate daily limits for individual appointment services and review a privacy-conscious record of blocked booking attempts.

If a request breaches one of your configured rules, Booking Guard prevents the booking through Wix's normal booking process. If no rules are breached, the booking continues as normal.
